Anticipated project outcomes include the following:

Students will be provided critical thinking and viewing skills regarding the use of violence in communication, especially electronic media. Workshops for parents will be held providing similar understanding. Students will produce pro-peace messages for their schools and community.

Safe School Action Teams will be formed to support the school-site Safety Teams. Helping to develop Crisis Response Boxes and other helpful tools and policies to create a safer school environment.

Law enforcement will work with school-site educators to provide helpful information from GIS (a water main broke in the middle of the night and a portion of the students will be unable to get to the campus, a shooting occurred three blocks from campus, etc.). Sharing of information will not be limited to data. Working through the sensitive issue of confidentiality, an interagency information sharing agreement will be accomplished.
