On October 4th San Antonio School students worked in cross grade level groups to focus on the character trait “Responsibility.”  Students worked in “Family Groups” with the 8th grader as the lead and a student from each grade, K-7, in their family.  Every year San Antonio School incorporates the Character Counts program and focusing on a character trait each month.

Family Day happens periodically throughout the year at San Antonio School.  By having a group of students with all grade levels represented and working together, the students can learn about each other and develop sensitivity.  The older students are role models for the younger, and sometimes the youngest have the most to teach the group.
