Central Coast High School is located on the gorgeous Monterey Peninsula. Our school is about 100 miles south of San Francisco and 300 miles north of Los Angeles. Our community is a coastal one with wild weather and many foggy days. Our school is about a few miles from the ocean and on clear days we can see the beautiful Monterey Bay which has one of the deepest sea canyons in the world.
This is a tourist area with over ten million people a year visiting the peninsula to play on the many white sand beaches as well as some of the finest golf courses in the world. Other destinations of interest are the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the charming and quaint cities of Carmel and Pacific Grove, not to mention the first capital of California, Monterey.
